Real Sociedad in LaLiga expresses interest in acquiring Carlos Vela, as the Mexican player, currently with LAFC, continues to be the subject of transfer speculations, with his former team being the latest contender.
Real Sociedad is keen on bringing Carlos Vela back to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season, given his previous success with the LaLiga team.
However, finalizing a deal might be challenging as Vela has more financially attractive offers from other clubs, creating economic differences in negotiations. Despite ongoing talks between Vela and Real Sociedad, complications arise, and it seems the club may need to allow Mohamed Ali Cho to depart to make room for the Mexican winger. While the player’s family is a positive factor, the complexity of the operation persists.
The negotiations involve potential interest from Cruz Azul, aiming to secure Vela for the Clausura 2024, but as of now, no deal has been finalized. Reflecting on Vela’s record with Real Sociedad, he played 250 games, scoring 73 goals and providing 43 assists, although he didn’t secure any titles with the team. In contrast, his time with LAFC resulted in victories like the Supporters Shield, MLS Western Conference championship, and the MLS Cup.
